TEIKEI Olive is created by the community, which, inspired by solidarity agriculture, can operate internationally and sustainably. The focus is on price calculation and financial support for agricultural businesses in order to be able to calculate the right price for olive oil by considering the social, ecological and economic needs of all those involved. We finance the olive harvest of small farmers and the transport by sailing ship early on each year. The relatively high amount is made up of the contributions of members already participating and voluntary member deposits. As long as we have not yet reached our optimal business size, we need the support of voluntary member deposits in order to cover the annual growth rate of the members and in the pre-financing for the following year.
