What is this world about? - In this one life? What is life? These questions are present and each individual acts according to his or her possibilities. Few are able to act as freely as their mind would like and the implementation of the desired lifestyle quickly reaches individual limits. But one capacity is immediately available to everyone: the decision about personal "consumer behavior".

In an interview, Dan Longboat, a Mohawk from the Six Nations of the Grand River in Canada, spoke about the meaning of being human and observed that all living things, the seas, the air, the plants, the animals, the minerals, the sun and the planets - indeed the entire universe - are involved in one process: the continuation of life.
TEIKEI works with this approach and only offers products that are justifiable in the sense of this intergenerational contract. Only when our great-grandchildren and their grandchildren can continue to produce and use the food without leaving any environmental pollution behind, only then is this product truly sustainable and we have achieved our goal.

We are starting with olive oil and will be adding other storable foods (food, textiles, building materials, etc.) to our range in the future. We will also be looking intensively at the topics of packaging and transport - together with production, these are the three main characteristics by which we will recognize and assess sustainable products.
