A successful day of community: An olive oil bottling event in Basel brought fresh oil directly from Greece to you!
On Saturday, May 13th, our long-awaited bottling event took place in Basel, and what a day it was! Early in the morning, the first of you arrived at the freight station, equipped with clean barrels, bottles and canisters, ready to bottle the fresh olive oil directly from our 1000-litre tank.
Directly from Greece to Basel: Fresh olive oil delivered in just a few days.
Panagiotis Marantos, our dedicated TEIKEI farmer and known to many as Panos, ensured that the freshly harvested olive oil from his olive grove was bottled into the large tank and then transported directly to Basel. It arrived just a few days later and was able to be distributed at our bottling event on May 13th.
Freshly cleaned and ready: Our barrels arrived sparkling clean from Bruckwald to Basel.
The barrels used for the bottling campaign in Basel are reusable barrels. We take back empty barrels during the year and clean them in cooperation with a social institution that has a modern washing line for containers. Felix picked them up after cleaning and transported them to Basel to bottle the fresh olive oil directly on site. This cooperation underlines our commitment to quality and social responsibility at every step of our supply chain.
A sense of community and commitment characterized the bottling campaign in Basel
The atmosphere was simply wonderful. It wasn't just the olive oil that flowed, but also many great conversations and a strong sense of community. It was impressive to see how committed and enthusiastic everyone was - whether it was bottling, helping or just observing and exchanging ideas.

The highlight was definitely the moment when the first drops of golden olive oil flowed into the barrels. The joy and satisfaction on the faces of everyone involved was palpable. This success is proof of what we can achieve together when we join forces.
After the work was done: A meal together crowned the successful bottling campaign and strengthened our sense of community.
After five intensive hours, everything was bottled and neatly stored. At the end, we all met up for a meal to celebrate this success. The campaign not only replenished our olive oil supplies, but also strengthened our community.
