NEW HARVEST IN VERACRUZ

On January 10, 2020, the Avontuur left Elsfleth with 400 canisters of Pano's freshly harvested TEIKEI olive oil. In winter temperatures, the crew set sail to sail to Tenerife and from there cross the Atlantic.

The olive oil from TEIKEI Olive is brought to Mexico using only the power of the wind and can be distributed by Lalo and Michaela to the Mexican TEIKEI community. The ship was unloaded by helpers in Veracruz, and immediately afterwards the harvest of the farmers of the Sierra Mixteca (Santiago Nuyoò) was taken on board for Teikei Coffee.

SAILS ARE SET

The next few months will be wild and windy around the Avontuur, because until next July the more than 100-year-old ship will be making an exciting journey via Halifax to Horta. From Horta it will return to the North Sea until the Avontuur arrives in the port of Hamburg.

GREAT COMMUNITY

We are still speechless and overjoyed at what a wonderful community stands behind this shared sailing adventure. Many thanks to the

It was a great pleasure for us to be there again! We are very much looking forward to next year, the next invitation and joint actions for a fair and sustainable global economy!
